On Tuesday 3rd of May, First class headed off to Dublin Castle to the finals of the RSA Seatbelt Sheriff Competition. The bus left Scoil Mocheallóg at 7.30 sharp. First Class were into the final five in the competition nationwide. Well done First Class! As part of the prize, food and entertainment were provided at Dublin Castle before the awards ceremony. A trip to Dublin Zoo was also included. We all really enjoyed our day and arrived home tired but with a prize of €500. Ms Lees, Ms Guiney, Hazel and Mrs. O’Connor all travelled on the day …..and we even persuaded Mr O’Connor to come along too! All the teacher were very proud of our pupils who behaved so well on the day.
