In late October, the Bank of Ireland delivered a 2 day workshop to 6th class. The aim of the workshop was to teach the class all about business life. They were asked to create a new idea for a product. They then had to form a ‘company’ with their group-each one in charge of a different aspect of the ‘business’. They had to plan the design of their product and create a business plan.
On the second day, each ‘company’ had to pitch their idea to local ‘dragons’, in the hope of a large investment. They also marketed their products with the help of 4th class.
The winners on the day were T.C.P (The Cattle Protectors…Seán Carroll, Clement McAuliffe, Sean Clery, James Houlihan, Martin O Reilly and Christian Mulready), with their 
very innovative farming system.
