Farewell to Alexandra

On Monday 11^th of January 2016, we at Scoil Mocheallóg said goodbye to our dear friend and classmate, Alexandra Costa.

Pupils from 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th and 6^th  classes sang beautifully from the organ gallery, helped by some past pupils from Coláiste Iósaef. Michael Gammell played a slow air on the whistle. Downstairs, pupils from Junior Infants to 2^nd class sat quietly at the back of the church and all pupils from 1^st class to 6^th class formed a guard of honour outside the church.

We, the teachers of Scoil Mocheallóg were very proud of our pupils who behaved with respect and dignity on this very sad occasion.

With broken hearts we said farewell to Alexandra whose impish smile and gentle ways will remain with us for a long time to come.
