Scoil Mocheallóg once again ran a lunch time handball tournament from January to June. Girls and boys from 5th and 6th class participated. The tournament was completed just before the summer holidays. The standard of play has improved considerably over the past number of years. Also it is wonderful to see an increase in the number of student playing one of our national games. It is important to emphasise that all games were refereed by students of 5th and 6th classes.
Congratulations to winners, Sinead Allen and William O Reilly. Also to our runners-up, Áine Dwane and Shane O Brien.
Well done to all the children who took part and to Mr Barron who organised and supervised the competition.
